COMPANY INFO
We focus on blowing art glass, mainly big vases and plates, using traditional venetian techniques like filigree- and incalmo, and also developing and adapting new ways of using these techniques in unique ways. We are also participating in making Finnish studio glass better known world wide.
Our production consists of small series models, unique art work and custom made business gifts. Designs are often made in respect to the classic, timeless forms.
We wish to preserve traditional craftmanship and every item is a unique handwork from the beginning to the end.
Everything in our glass studio, tools, furnace, machinery and other equipments are made and designed by Jari-Matti Solin. He also manufactures these machines and tools for sale.
We have open doors in our glass studio and the shop is open throughout the year. By agreement we also arrange glass blowing shows for bigger groups.
